Development of an Online Repository of OH&S Education and Training Resources for Healthcare: Phase 1

Objective: To provide the healthcare sector with a practical solution to reduce duplication and increase collaboration in the development of education and training resources through the creation of a central online repository of OHS materials developed by OHSAH and its stakeholders.

The Evaluation of Acoustical Environments in Long-term Care Facilities and the Risk of Aggressive Behaviour and Work Place Stress

Objective: To characterize the impact of background noise levels and other characteristics of the acoustic environment at several long term care facilities on the staff and residence populations.

Safety Engineered Medical Devices Activation Study - The B.C. Experience

Objective: To determine the proportion of activated safety engineered sharp devices, to estimate the fullness of the disposable containers, to identify if any non-safety sharp devices are present, and to identify any non-sharp wasted disposed of in the containers.
