This online learning course is designed to provide healthcare workers with an understanding of Infection Control Basics. It will apply to any worker regardless of the care facility.

• The importance of infection control
• Routine and standard infection control practices
• The use of personal protective barriers, such as masks and gloves
• Proper waste handling and disposal
• The various types of isolation and when they should be applied

• Available online – participants only need an internet connection
• Fun and interactive, to keep participants engaged
• Divided into 5 lessons, each taking from 10-20 minutes to complete – progress is saved, so participants do not have to complete all 5 lessons at once
• Review quizzes throughout, to help participants remember key points
• Administrative functions, to allow supervisors to easily manage their infection control education program
