This online learning course is designed to provide healthcare workers with an understanding of Infection Control Basics. It will apply to any worker regardless of the care facility.
What will participants learn?
- The importance of infection control
- Routine and standard infection control practices
- The use of personal protective barriers, such as masks and gloves
- Proper waste handling and disposal
- The various types of isolation and when they should be applied

- Divided into 5 lessons, each taking from 10-20 minutes to complete – progress is saved, so participants do not have to complete all 5 lessons at once
