Objective: To evaluate the performance of the WHITE database in tracking influenza vaccine coverage among the healthcare workforce.

This project evaluated the performance of the WHITE database in tracking influenza vaccine coverage among the healthcare workforce. The goals of this project were to improve the WHITE Database for future years; derive baseline estimates of vaccine coverage so that any future strategies for improvement can be compared to these numbers to evaluate their effectiveness; and identify determinants (barriers and facilitators) of vaccine uptake within this cohort. The aim was to enhance the use of this occupational surveillance tool throughout the healthcare system and identify strategies to improve vaccine uptake amongst healthcare workers.
