Objective: To characterize SARS-related (and other related infectious diseases) knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, perceptions and behavioural intentions of healthcare workers and their environmental, organizational, and individual determinants.
Events regarding SARS, particularly morbidity and mortality in Canadian HCWs, focused attention on this important area, yet very little was known about HCWs' understanding and attitude towards this disease. The study characterized SARS-related (and other related infectious diseases) knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, perceptions and behavioural intentions of HCWs and their environmental, organizational, and individual determinants.
Results: For results from this study, please contact the Principal Investigator, Dr. Annalee Yassi, at the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia.
