Changing the Workplace
The Changing the Workplace project identifies work conditions that impact the well being of BC healthcare workers and evaluates employee-led interventions to improve their work environment. Nurses and Unit Clerks from Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Interior Health, have been participating in this longitudinal research study.

Workplace-related mental illness is a serious problem in Canada, but is preventable. By completing the telephone survey, RNs, RPNs, LPNs, Care Aides, and Unit Clerks from participating units can contribute valuable information and enter a draw to win a trip to the National Mental Health and Addictions Conferencein Orlando, Florida. (draw date: Jan 4th, 2010). Results of the study will be released in spring 2010. For more information about the study and how to complete the survey, please contact
